Well that is an interesting image. Caught my attention, for sure. I don't know how I would handle it, but can the blending on the left hand side of the image be smoother? The difference in texture reduces the immersive quality I think you were going for of the breasts and sand dunes merging into one seamless shot.
As much as I want to see that seamlessness, I ultimately come away seeing an interesting perspective of a woman laying in front of some sand dunes.
Hey Nathan, I greatly appreciate your feedback, especially after seeing your amazing work! I certainly see additional work I would like to do, but this is the only recent photo I had shot and ultimately had to get it posted to meet the deadline for this contest. It wasn't actually my vision to blend the model into the landscape, but to accurately place her in the scene, however I see how it appears that way on the left-hand side. I also realize my focus is too sharp in the background because there is a more narrow focus plane on her. Cheers and thanks again!
Cool concept! I've seen these where the rest of the body is blended into the topography e.g. the hips and thighs melding into the sand dunes etc. Really makes for a cool effect. Awesome work though.
