This is a lamp in the middle or our staircase that leads to the roof of our single story house here in Bhopal, India. I have grown up in this house was also born in the same. The lamp has remained since. I have never ever thought that this could become a subject of my expression of art to represent a time period. But as the lockdown began I was inspired to look around for things that could be the representation of the current situation or mood. Looking for beauty in common things like this gave me a better perspective. Also I shot this image on the 5th of April 2020.
