While hiking Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park, I caught this landscape with the forest touched with approaching fall colors.

This was taken with a AF-S DX VR Zoom-NIKKOR 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G IF-ED

This has great colours. I would it to be shot slightly wider like the bay to be more centered,i.e. not cut off on the left side.

I agree with David, I would have titled the camera slightly to the left (or walked a little more down the trail) and captured the whole bay. The colors are really nice in this photo, good job Christopher!

I disagree, if anything this photo is too wide. It tries to capture EVERYTHING and in doing so everything blends together. It needs a subject in the foreground to give it scale and added interest.

Thank you everyone for the feedback. I think I was more enamored by the perspective and the textures in the sky.
