Sony a6000 with Laowa 15mm f4 1:1 Macro Lens
I'm not especially proud of this picture, I could have try to get a way better composition, but I really liked the unique look I could get with this wide angle lens.

The composition ok to me, just a shame the depth of field is too narrow to get both the tentical-eye things in focus.
Thanks for commenting. I totally agree with you. I struggled quite a lot to get them in line. It was shot in early 2019. I was struggling with the lighting and the lens itself. It only has a 1:1 basically where the subject is touching the lens. I was too much focused on getting the 1:1 right as I started out with macro. I should have just focused on getting a better composition and should have gone with a higher aperture.
Yes, I wish both eyes were in focus, and that the color grade was a little better. I think a better post processing would make this a great image!

Basically I just missed the vital shot as not both eyes are in focus (I couldn’t get it in over 50 shots, gave up eventually).
I don’t really mind the color grading, but I do think I should have separated the subject and background more with highlighting and separating the background colors more.
