This shot was taken during the start of the BLM protests in Columbus, Ohio, around the first week of protestors marching for George Floyd's murder. A peaceful protest was forced out of the downtown area and eventually devolved into heavy tear gas and pepper spray usage. Construction workers boarding up the windows of buildings along the street gave the protestors leftover wooden boards to help defend themselves against the wooden pellets being fired by police officers.
