I was sitting in a field having a rest while hiking, when a swallow flew straight at me. I just raised my camera and shot, having no idea what the settings were.

If people knew how hard it is to get these birds in flight, the rating would be much higher.
Thanks Dave, I agree. The swallow buzzed me for quite a while after my first photo, but even with time to adjust my settings, none of the later photos were as good. Swallows are incredibly fast and erratic. I think this absolutely meets the criteria, it was 100% pure luck.
