Taken on my first night out with my then new D610 and Sigma 35mm 1.4 Art. I opted for the packed Victoria Harbour in Hong Kong which is usually filled with thousands of selfie sticks and phones taking photos of the famous skyline.
At 8PM each night the skyline plays host to a light show. I walked behind the crowd and took this shot purely by dumb luck. I was still getting used to the 35mm focal length and just happened to be the right distance from the subject.
I have always likened this shot to what we must imagine it looks and feels like when you take 'The Shot'. The Aha moment if you will.
