I'm an avid street photographer in the streets of Hong Kong.
The truth of the matter is, that you get your best shots at moments you least expect them.
I consider this piece in particular to be one of my more lucky shots. I was on my lunch break with camera in hand and as I descended down some stairs, I noticed the sliver of light. I tend to shoot manual and was still exposed for the bright outside surroundings. As this gentleman ascended the stairs, I snapped the pic without changing my settings to expose for the shadows.
I liked the outcome so much, that it kickstarted a complete new style in which I view the world and showcase my work.
And truth of the matter is this guy looks absolutely majestic going up a flight of stairs.
This pic was also chosen by Fstoppers for Editor's pick list and your instagram account. I find that lucky in its own right as Street photography is not really the main type of photography preferred by the community at large
