This is a photo manipulation from an abandoned house that I light painted inside and out.
The old man is cut from a bright picture with sunshine that I tried to manage into this night scene.
He was also given a small lantern to hold on to as he entered his yard.
It represents a very dark atmosphere where unwelcome beings express themselves with their hands on the kitchen window and someone watching the yard from upstairs. (hard to see on small resolution).
This is actually the atmosphere I experienced when I walked around this house.

I really like what you did here. I’d encourage you to plan and execute a concept just like this on location some time.
That doesn’t take away from this particular image, just to say that you might exercise additional practical skills, and produce a similarly interesting result.
Assuming, of course, you’re not already doing that.
