We started early breaking trail after a nocturnal nightfall. No other porter wanted to start first, and neither did we, but having some more work on the following day required for more hours of rest after carrying the equipment up to C2 this day. This image is taken from the 15,000ft rock looking down to Plaza de Mulas, in Mt. Aconcagua, and some of the other groups can be seen following our tracks.

Thank you Thomas! Actually it was not that cold. Probably around 0ºC. I remember I was walking with my softshell pants and waterproof above, and just a t-shirt and a polartec fleece with the half-zip full-open. And always a buff, at that altitude, so to retain some of the humidity of one's airways...
