I was experimenting with taking photos of the waves crashing using slower shutter speeds. I was inspired by some photos of bigger waves that I really like. The waves weren't big this day but they were enough to get some nice blurred motion/lines. I took this hand held from a top the local pier. I was too lazy to put on my ND filters b/c I was going to be switching lenses for sunset. So to get the shutter speed right the original file was a little over exposed but I was able to recover everything in post.
