Arches National Park, January. This is a boulder field just off the main park road at dusk. I moved a few dozen yards from the car, rock hopping to avoid leaving footprints in the sand or snow, and shivered through a pastel sunset. The temperature dropped hard and I was really not wearing the right pants. There's nothing special technically, I just shot brackets periodically for around 40 minutes.

I think if you brighten up all that slick rock a bit to bring out that orange a bit more it would make this photo really pop!
