Dead Horse Point, Utah, January. I originally envisioned a dawn light on the rock faces image but much prefer this softer pre-dawn version. I bracketed for the best combination of sky and rock glow. The most remarkable thing about this image was the experience of being completely alone for a little over an hour at a location as popular as Dead Horse Point. Hot tip: go when it's 15 degrees F.
