2022 has been relatively quiet so far for me photographically, but recently had a chance to visit a nice waterfall trail in the midwest after spring rains had saturated everything. The small eddy pooling off the waterfall provided a nice comp so I positioned myself such that the longer tendrils of water would lead into the frame and balance with the eddy and the falls.
Shot on Nikon D3200, 26 mm cropped, f/18, blend of 40 s and 13 s to to get the right movement in the water. It was a bit too bright to get a long enough exposure at f/11 with a polarizer so I changed the aperture to f/18. The 40 s exposure was shot with a 10 stop ND.
