"Into the Heavens" We were on a walking tour in old Bourdeaux France when, passing this church, I saw an approaching plane's contrail. Since we were with a group I was just carrying my compact Canon Powershot. I had to run back a half block to set up the angle I wanted - old and new, both guiding the way into the heavens. I like the way the bulk of the church tower first catches the eye, then tapers up to the spire, where the bright jet contrail parallels and completes the journey into the heavens.
