"Up the Lazy River" Walking the grounds at Middleton Place Plantation outside Charleston was this calm river channel with an old plantation building near the end. The river makes the vanishing point at the building, but I like the three parallel leading lines on the right created by the tree line, shoreline, and the tree reflection. The large tree on the left provides balance without crowding both sides of the shot with green. By the time the eye gets to the end of the journey, the building is a bit of a surprise. Shot with my "tourist" camera, Canon Powershot. Only post production is to light levels.
