Low fog and the waves they create on landscapes are a delight to watch, especially when they flow around trees and hills. Mount Tamalpais (Mt Tam as the locals like to call it) is a gorgeous place about 1.5 hours north of San Francisco. Every summer, the fog here gets low enough for some spectacular conditions. Lately these conditions have become sporadic, so anytime we get these, I jump on a car to head to Mt Tam.
This September, I captured this long exposure to make the fog flow look smooth over the hills and trees.
Lee Morris thanks for selecting this image to critique! And rightfully calling me out on the lack of information, I apologize. I have updated it now with some information, I'll make sure to add camera info and settings in a bit as well. 🙌
