This photo was taken along the Old Frankfort Pike on a fall day trip to Kentucky. I love the fall colors which were one reason for the trip. It makes me want to head out on a road trip. I think the road and walls provide great leading lines.

The photo was challenging to take because of the time of day and the very bright light. I underexposed the image a bit to compensate. In hindsight I could have used multiple exposures but I didn’t really have the time to set up a tripod and shoot multiple images in the middle the road.

Photo was taken on a Canon EOS R5 with a RF 14-35mm at 35mm. ISO 100 f11 with a shutter of 1/30. Minor adjustments and crop in Lightroom.
