Machu Picchu
The image was taken with a Nikon D750 and 24-85 zoom lens F8 @1/640th second @48mm, the image was taken at one of the UNESCO world heritage sites Machu Picchu this view is some of the stone structures the stones are hand carved and the Incas don’t use malter to make the joints. The image was taken on a very cloudy day at around midday. I had start by trekking up to an altitude of about 2800 meters above sea level (9100 feet ) then had to trek an additional 500 meters to this vantage point to get the image. Another challenge was temperature change and trying to keep my lens fog free.
