This image was taken on the Dutch Island of Schiermonnikoog which is an island that lies in the dutch nature reserve of the Wadden Sea which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. i knand the dunes and castew i wanted to take an image of the Red Lighthouse at sunset and walked through the dunes to find a good vantage point. i like how the light illuminates the side of the lighthouse casting shadows in the landscape.
