Sandstorm: Death Valley

Found a distant hiker in the storm at Mesquite Flats Dunes in Death Valley, California with the Fujifilm X-T4 + XF 70-300mm WR lens. Edited in Capture One using Classic Chrome as a base. I don't always use Fuji film sims but the palette just works here.

My edits are global, with adjustments to the black and white points, contrast changes, dehaze, clarity, and structure applied to recover details from the haze of the sandstorm. Especially in the sky. I also cloned out a few brush patches on the dunes to give it a more minimalist feel.
