Meteora, Greece - October 2021.
Famous for the monasteries built atop natural rocks near the town of Kalabaka in northern Greece. In the foreground we can see Varlaam Monastery and in the background is Great Meteoron Monastery, two of the remaining six monasteries still active.
One of the most incredible parts of the day for photographing is during sunrise or sunset. During my visit I was graced by a person flying on a powered paraglider above the monasteries, which in turn truly made this place an even more epic landscape.
