2 - "Needs Work"

Wife and I decided to take a weekend road trip to Odda, Norway (from Sweden).
Because of a rush hour trough Oslo, we lost 2 hours in our planned route, and after 12 hours drive, I decided it's time to call it a day and stay overnight in a different hotel that is around 100km (60miles) away from our destination. Little that I knew is that this decision would make the whole trip a complete different experience.

Next morning, we were on our way, but we never reached or destination. And it's for the best reasons possible.

The usual forecast for the beginning of June is 15°C (59 F). However, that particular weekend was record 31°C (87F), which resulted in one of the most beautiful scenes I've seen in my life.

That 100km drive from our hotel towards Odda was just heaven on earth. Hundreds of lakes surrounded by the melting snow, which was forming numerous waterfalls everywhere you look. We decided to stop and take a dive with icebergs in one lake down the road, as the day was getting unusually warm. The lake however was still freezing, but the experience of having beers cool down in an iceberg while enjoying the sun was memory of a lifetime.

The picture in question was taken in another nearby one that happened to have waterfall in the back. It's taken with Sony A7iv and a 18mm 2.8 Rokinon lens with polarizing ND filter. It is a blend of one longer exposure for the waterfall, and another for the subject.
