Background
This cityscape was included in the "Leading Lines" CTC. I took Patrick and Lee's feedback to heart and reworked the photo to be more balanced (in particular, the center bird that was originally clipping the top of the building).
Process
The image was achieved by blending multiple shots for the sky, the birds, and sun cast on the buildings in Photoshop, after which, all other corrections were made in Lightroom. I had since added Topaz Denoise to my workflow and ran it through Denoise before uploading for this CTC.
Vision
My goal for the image (as is with much of my recent work), is to convey the essence of a place / scene. Basically the sights, smells, and sounds all into one blended shot. I still appreciate the amazing rich colorful skies too, but have kind of shifted my focus a little.
