Four Minutes in Llanberis

This is the much photographed lone tree at Llyn Padarn in Llanberis, North Wales. The image was captured in the pre-dawn light on a dull morning in November. Fortunately there was little wind which gave the opportunity for a long exposure with a decent reflection. I took a number of shots but this caught a lighter patch crossing the sky giving the best result.

Processing in LR5 comprised of slight adjustments to the white balance, exposure, contrast and saturation. Highlights, whites and vibrance were also lifted and noise reduction applied.
