The Tempel of Saturn.
When I finally had the opportunity to travel to Italy late February this year, the ancient city of Rome, was the top goal. Travelling the furthest away from the tourist season gave photographic possibilities not possible during the summer.
The about 2000 years old incredible tempel ruins of saturn is according to Italian historians located on top of an even older temple. From about year 500 before christ. Walking around here, and in the Colosseum, was a lifetime experience for an historic and architectural and "old stuff" interested person like me. Spent several hours here several times to photograph this picture. And hours in editing. Some may very well say it doesn`t look to natural. I tried to enhance the image the best I could, to at least give the spectator a sence of what I was feeling when I was there.
