The image was shot during sunrise at Grand Falls just outside of Flagstaff, Arizona. Commonly referred to as the Chocolate Falls due to the water's brown color coming from the mud and clay in the riverbed. These falls only run for a few weeks each year during spring as the snow melts off the mountains further up east.
