In the words of Bob Ross, this image was a "happy mistake". It was a humid morning on the east end of Long Island. I had my camera in the air conditioning of my car just prior to taking this shot. I didn't realize it at the time, but my polarizing filter had been completely fogged with moisture when I took the photo. This happy accident really enhanced the atmosphere and overall feeling of the image.
