The unique lighting conditions make this photo one of my favorites. I sat there over the course of an hour as storm clouds passed over. So when the sky parted and illuminated the foreground I was ecstatic. The difference in luminosity and saturation helps create depth and layers while also steering the viewer's eye.

This would probably work better as 16:9, without the sky, but you might also need a bit more foreground as well. Otherwise, very nice scene and light!
