Late Sunrise at Rifle Falls in Colorado Fall 2023. Alot of the glow came from the morning sun beaming through the heavy mist from the falls. a7IV with a sigma 14-24 f2.8 DG DN at 14mm. When in the mountains its easy to think golden hour will hit your landscape, but often you end up waiting till much later before the sun comes up over surrounding hills and peaks. So when the sun finally peaked over the nearby mountain, I took a short timelapse while constantly wiping my lens to ensure I got a little bit of direct light on the water and surrounding rocks.
