I had made plans to go out and shoot at a nature reserve called Kullaberg in south of Sweden. Unfortunately my car started to give me some error messages so instead of driving all the way there I stopped in a small village called Lerhamn. I put on weather protection on my camera to protect it from the waves, but rain coat combined with the strong winds made it impossible to use a tripod - hence I didn't have much room to play around with the shutter speed.
Technical Details:
Canon EOS R paired with an RF 24-105 f4.
Shot at 24mm ISO 1250, f8, 1/320.
Postprocessing: Lightroom color and exposure tweeking.
Please note: I have been an enthusiastic hobby photographer for about 5 years. Landscape is still one of the genres I feel that I struggle with and I would love some suggestions of improvement. Thank you kindly in advance.
Good work. I'd estimate 1/200 sec. The clouds were the friend of this comp, which I would imagine was high tide....
Thank you! 1/320, so a fairly good gues. Actually, southern Sweden doesn't have that much of a tide, a couple of centimeters at most. I believe however that the heavy winds created similar looking effects. :)
Oh, and also I totally agree that the clouds are the saviour of the image!
