I took this while on a hike in Grand Teton National Park in July. The visit was part of a van trip which included Yellowstone, Glacier and Grand Teton National Parks.

I used my Sony A7riii with Sony's 70-200 GM II at 70mm, 1/3200, f/8, ISO 2500.

Using a narrower focal length was necessary due to all of the other people also at the waterfall that day. I purposefully framed the waterfall with the pine trees, decreased their shadows and raised the blacks. I lowered the luminance on the greens and yellows too. I wanted to balance out the brightness of the water with the darkness of the pine trees.
