*From The Mists*

This is my personal favourite image from my portfolio, and I have it printed large in my home. The full long-winded story is on my main profile here, however shooting these conditions was on my bucket list of shots to hopefully capture. A warm late autumn, followed by an instant -30 celsius cold snap created these amazing hoar frost formations. Additionally the lake was still mostly unfrozen creating a huge amount of early morning mist. Only for a few brief moments during the couple hour shooting session did the peak poke out.
