*Crystalline Chamber*
Another portfolio favourite. Even though this cave looks relatively large, the longest icicles pictured are barely over a foot high. This made for a tight squeeze and a technical nightmare to photograph, so the full focus range of the lens was used to capture everything sharp. The camera was resting on the ice, with the lens supported by a wet wipes container, and I was lying out of the ice with arms reached out to move the camera. I came to this spot every sunrise/sunset for 3.5 days to get decent lighting conditions.
