I have been wanting this photo for years but things always seemed to happen (weather wise). While it is not the sky I would have like it does remind me of a great morning with my lucky charm of a wife. Hiking up in the dark and enjoying a great summer morning sunset.
This is a time blend pano (I had several failures until I figured out the technique to do). Thank you Fstoppers and Elia Locardi for the Dead Horse Point Tutorial years ago.. That made a difference.
This is 6 shot vertical at 24mm with several series shot pre sunrise and during sunrise. f11 and various shutter speeds to get the car trails (pre sunrise) and the town light (pre sunrise).
Edit was basic lightroom and then very little dodge and burn in photoshop.
Great experience and a great morning... Can't wait to see this one printed large.
