Inspired by Photographing the World, this photograph uses Elia’s time-blending technique to capture Himeji Castle during a 2-hour period. Although the windows do not light up like Osaka Castle, the surrounding city and exterior lighting on the landmark creates a similar magic when blended in from later in the evening. Shot from a quiet hill in an adjacent neighborhood, this spot is a lesser known angle of largest castle in Japan and is completely unspoiled by tourists (for now).
