I spent the last few weeks visiting Maine and got some great shots of lighthouses with beautiful sunrises and sunsets, but the weather on this day was not so friendly to me. I decided to make the most of it and get this moody shot of the Marshall Point Lighthouse overlooking the Gulf of Maine. I think the yellow "Caution" sign on the lighthouse adds to the look that I was going for here. I shot this on my Sony A7R V at 35mm. f8, ISO 100, 1/80s. The original sky was gloomy, but not quite as dramatic as I wanted, so I replaced with this one in post.
