This image was taken in January 22 on the top of a hill at Riisitunturi National Park Finland. During this time the whole landscape was covered in snow with some areas waist-deep and with temperatures as low as -30. This made for extremely challenging but magical conditions to shoot in. This particular tree was catching the light to which I was drawn to. With the forests in the background lit up, mist and clouds coming in and also the sun rising, I felt this made for an interesting scene to capture.
