During retreat of monsoons from Indian sub continent rains get sporadic and that allows for many endemic plants to bloom before the dry season(lasting nearly 9 months) starts. This is an example of just one such small plateau where different species of plants had flowered during the tail end of monsoons. Sadly many of these places are under threat of "development" as these places are considered a wasteland.
