I had researched places to visit and shoot in the Dolomites because the pictures of the mountain ranges there fascinated me. My research had me stumble on this quiet valley with some of the most picturesque scenes I could imagine. I spent most of the day in the location when it was very cloudy, left to get something to eat, saw the clouds broke, and rushed back to get this shot. Definitely glad I stuck around for this picture.
