During the day, I hiked around Meteora (Greece) searching for the perfect elevation point for this shot. In the evening, I hiked up to this spot again, arriving 1,5 hours on the spot to secure my spot (isn't that how Elia would do it?), set up my tripod and shot many photographs all the way from the start of the golden hour to the end of sunset. For the final shot, I combined multiple images ("light painting") and the shot where I waited to get the perfectly shaped sun flare.
