What I like about landscape photography is that on winter days you can enjoy these breathtaking views in complete solitude, no tourists crowding the coast like in summer, it's just you admiring the beauty of nature.
This in the photo is part of the Apulian coast in southern Italy, specifically near the Faraglioni of Sant'Andrea, I was lucky to arrive on site before the sunset faded, because I wasn't sure if I would go out to take some photographs, that day there was it had been a strong storm with lots of lightning and I didn't want to have a close encounter with this kind of natural event for obvious reasons, also because I didn't know the place, I waited a bit before deciding to go out, I took the car and I traveled about twenty kilometers before arriving at the spot, it was the first time I had visited this place and I still had no idea how to compose the images, I did a quick exploration tour and shortly after I found a spot which seemed interesting to photograph, I waited until the sun was a little lower so as to have red clouds and the sun's rays not directly hitting the stacks and I took a few long exposure shots.
I left immediately afterwards to go and photograph a lighthouse on the coast, taking advantage of the fact that I was satisfied with the result I had just obtained and I still had 43 minutes left before the blue hour arrived.

Shot info: Canon 5D mkII - Lens -16-35 L f4 - iso 100 - f/10 - ND64 - GND 3 stop Hard - Polarizer - 180sec of exposure, single shot.

The post production was carried out mainly in Lightroom/Camera Raw and Photoshop for correct some color casting and then to finish I used
the Nik Collection to refine the final image whit Nik Viveza.
