The picture was taken during sunrise at the Largo di Braies in Italy, also known as Pragser Wildsee. I was surprised by how many people were there to get a good early shot. I used a 5D IV, wide-angle lens on a tripod. To achieve the elevation, I had to climb a bit through the woods. The idea was to have the little boats a bit less prominent and embrace more the mirror of the mountains. To have even more focus on this, I reduced in post-process the greens to achieve this blue/gray + orange vintage look. The person in the foreground is another photographer, so no model. I left her in to achieve a better sense of scale.
