I took this photo in the Lofoten Islands of Norway on a cold night in February. After waiting for well over an hour, I was just about ready to go back inside when the northern lights finally made an appearance.

I kept the editing minimal, just bumped up the exposure a bit, lifted the whites, and fixed the white balance.
