Why does autumn have the best sunsets? Mangart saddle, Slovenia

Autumn always serves up beautiful inversions. Usually are unpredictable, but this time I could expect it, because the weather forecast for this Friday, when the photo was taken, was practically a "copy-paste" of the previous day, at least as far as low and medium cloud cover, but the forecast was a little better for high cloud cover, so I also planned astrophotography from this location.

Unfortunately, due to the strong wind and the rise of the inversion itself after sunset, my astrphotography plan did not work out, but I still got one of my favorite photos, which I am very happy to share with you now.
