Staying in Beatty, NV in August of 2022 while visiting Death Valley NP. I walked out of the rental we were staying in to see the clouds exploding over the mountain top like waves crashing on rocks. Shot with a Nikon D7500 and Sigma 14-24 f/2.8 DG wide-angle lens. ISO-160, F/13 @ 1/200 Sec. I did very little editing in lightroom for the final shot. Brought the exposure down a bit and the contrast up. Bumped the highlights and shadows just a bit as well as bringing out the blue in the sky and the oranges and yellows of the mountain top.
