I love chasing lightning storms. This one was in the Caribbean, right by the Demerara River estuary in Georgetown Guyana. Since it was at night, I set my D500 on a tripod to take images every 5 seconds at f/5.6

This picture is truly amazing, what bothers me is that you clearly have the skills to take an amazing picture but can't bother to straighten the horizon (you even were on a tipod so it could have been straight right away) or crop the intruding palms in the bottom. this could have been a 4 or even 5-star picture
