Living in Upstate, New York we are fortunate enough to be blessed with an incredible autumn season every year. The last few years I've taken the time to take week long road trips through the Adirondacks during this season photographing all the beauty I can find. Last year I stumbled upon this new to me location that became an instant favorite. Nestled in Colton, NY is this incredible river view. I try to always photograph here at sunrise so I can capture the mist coming off the small set of waterfalls in the distance. This image was created with a Canon R5 and a Sigma 150-600 Sport lens on a FotoPro Sherpa Max tripod. This image is a time blend for the sky and foreground. Using the EF to RF with ND Filter, I was able to slow my shutter speed down to 25sec, turning the flowing river in to a nice glassy reflection. I blended the images together in Photoshop and did final editing in Lightroom. This is one of my personal favorites from my week long trip that I did this year.
