This image was a happy accident. While shooting a lake reflection scene at Upper Lake Kananaskis in Alberta, Canada, a moose walked toward me and stopped. As I froze in disbelief, the moose turned and walked across a spit of land and moved perfectly into the scene. This was taken with a Sony 24-70 lens mounted on a Sony A7 R2 camera body and was handheld. I followed the moose with my lens and waited until his reflection came into view and continued shooting as the moose walked to the end of the spit, entered the water, and swam to the opposite shore. The time of day was approximately 9 am and it was mid-August if memory serves me correctly. Post-processing was done in Lightroom to enhance the color of the mountains surrounding the lake.
