Paris at night
Paris is one of the European cities that I both live in and love. With its unique city spirit, history and architectural texture, it always seems ready to be photographed. But what impresses me more are the night views of Paris. Because with its architecture that reflects the spirit of the city and its not too colorful lighting style, Paris looks as if it were looking back 100 years ago. I can say that I took this photo in this mood. I turned my back to the Notre Damme church in the Saint Mitchel area and wanted to show the gloomy clouds in the sky and the yellow street lamps illuminating the city in my frame. Of course, the Seine River, one of the indispensable parts of Paris, and one of the many bridges over it were also included in my photograph. I wanted to show the stone walls of the bridge and the texture of those walls in the photo. The exif information of the photo was ISO 200, 50 mm, f/2.5 and 1/8 sec. I used a D850 body and a 50 mm prime lens. The open aperture made my job a little easier. While processing the photo, I wanted to combine blue and yellow colors with the basic settings. In this way, I tried to invite the audience to focus more. I also used an additional effect to increase the effect of the street lights. I made the reflections on the water more visible. Finally, I completed the process with noise reduction and sharpness settings.
